Buprenorphoine X-Waiver Training Course

Training is provided complimentary to Wisconsin providers who are eligible to prescribe buprenorphine. This session is presented as a live four-hour activity, which, when paired with ASAM's four-hour on-demand course, will provide necessary education for participates to apply for and obtain their Buprenorphine Waver through the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
ASAM is an approved provider by CSAT/SAMHSA of DATA 2000 training. This blended format combines 4 hours of live learning with 4 hours of self-paced online learning for a total of 8 hours. The live portion of the course will introduce learners to treating opioid use disorder with medications. The online portion is completed after the live portion and focuses on special populations and cases. Upon registration, learners will be issued access to the online portion of the blended course through the ASAM e-Learning Center.
ACCREDITATION: The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
